Recruitabase was launched in November 2024 by Ray Noelte, a former NCAA DI and NCAA DII college softball coach and recruiting coordinator.
During his time as a college softball coach and recruiting coordinator, Ray experienced first-hand the significant time and effort required to create the comprehensive set of evaluation data for each recruit that is necessary for better recruiting decisions.
With each college sports program duplicating that effort (or, perhaps not doing it at all due to the time it requires), Ray envisioned the opportunity for one company to perform that service for all college sports programs. And thus, Recruitabase was launched.
Prior to his NCAA DI and NCAA DII college coaching and recruiting experience, Ray coached club softball in Southern California for 12 years.
In addition, Ray is an 18-year member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) and has earned a 4-Star Master Coach certification from the NFCA’s National Fastpitch Coaches College (NFCC).
Supplementing Ray’s experience in athletics is decades of information technology management and management consulting experience, a master’s degree in business administration with an elective emphasis in human and organizational behavior, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and operation research.
